Steel Magnolia Moms
Steel Magnolias is a non-profit designed to help moms to positively support one another and share in the joys and challenges of raising a child with special needs.
PALS
People Against Leigh Syndrome, (PALS), has built awareness of this unknown disease and raised funds to support the medical community in their quest to develop viable treatments and ultimately a cure.
Southern Smoke
Southern Smoke is a crisis relief organization for people in the food and beverage industry. They provide funds directly to people in need that are battling health crises, mental health needs and more.
The Children's Fund
The Children’s Fund builds on Houston’s rich tradition of philanthropy by educating and encouraging its members and supporters to give in a way that significantly improves the quality of life for disadvantaged children.
The Houston Food Bank
The Houston Food Bank distributes food and other essentials to those in need through a network of 1,500 community partners. They also provide programs and services aimed at helping families achieve long-term stability including nutrition education, job training, health management, and help in securing state-funded assistance.
Small Steps Nurturing Center
Small Steps Nurturing Center operates two preschools for economically at-risk children living in the Fifth Ward and Gulfton/Sharpstown communities of inner-city Houston, Texas.
